Der Strand von Mexota gehört zur Gemeinde Tapia de Casariego und befindet sich im spanischen Ort Santa Gadea. Er ist Teil der westlichen Küste Asturiens und unterliegt einem Umweltschutz, da er als ZEPA und LIC katalogisiert ist. Sein Sand ist weiß und die Gefährlichkeit ist mittel. Es gibt wenig Besuch von Badegästen, obwohl sich der Strand in einem städtischen Umfeld befindet. Seine Form ist geradlinig, er hat eine Länge von etwa 240 Metern und eine Breite von etwa 60 Metern. Die Zugänge sind fußgängerfreundlich, aber einfach, weniger als 500 m.
