Vom alten mittelalterlichen Schloss bleibt der Toponym –Straße des Schlosses- erhalten: Die wenigen materiellen Überreste, die noch vorhanden sind, befinden sich auf dem Gipfel eines Tormo, der nördlich der Bevölkerung liegt und ihr den Namen gibt.
Muslimischen Ursprungs, war es Teil einer Verteidigungslinie, die Albarracín mit Alpuente verband, über Jabaloyas, El Cuervo, Castielfabib, Ademuz und Santa Cruz de Moya.
