Die Mühle von Albolafia, auch Rad von Albolafia genannt , ist eine Wassermühle am rechten Ufer des Guadalquivir, in der Nähe der römischen Brücke.
Seine Ursprünge gehen auf das Römische Reich zurück, wobei die ersten schriftlichen Erwähnungen aus dem 8. Jahrhundert stammen, obwohl sein heutiges Aussehen das Ergebnis einer Restaurierung im 9. Jahrhundert durch Abderramán II. Ist.
Ursprünglich diente sie zur Bewässerung der Gemüsegärten des Alcazar , später wurde sie aber zu einer Mehl- und Walkmühle.
1492 befahl Isabella die Katholikin während ihres Aufenthalts im Alcazar, das Wasserrad abzubauen, weil sie dessen Lärm nicht ertragen konnte .
