Le Moulin d'Albolafia, également connu sous le nom de Roue d'Albolafia , est un moulin à eau situé sur la rive droite du Guadalquivir, près du pont romain.
Ses origines remontent à l' Empire romain, les premières références écrites datant du VIIIe siècle , bien que son aspect actuel soit le résultat d'une restauration du IXe siècle par Abderramán II.
Initialement, il servait à fournir de l'eau d'irrigation pour les jardins potagers de l'Alcazar , mais plus tard, il est devenu un moulin à farine et à foulon.
En 1492, alors qu'elle séjourne à l'Alcazar, Isabelle la Catholique ordonne le démontage de la roue à aubes car elle ne supporte pas son bruit .
