Dieser Platz wurde um das Jahr 2000 renoviert und ersetzt den alten Platz , der als "Alamea" bekannt ist.

Obwohl es viele Ähnlichkeiten mit dem alten hat, wurde es durch den Bau von städtischen Parkplätzen modifiziert. Derzeit zeichnet sich der Platz durch seinen zentralen Brunnen aus, der mit einer Ölmühle gebaut wurde, sowie für seine Blumenbeete und Laternen.
