Die Stadt hoch am linken Ufer der Ouvèze hat ihre Ursprünge im 13. Jahrhundert. Im Mittelalter bauten die Einwohner ihre Häuser in der Nähe der Burg. Sie suchten Schutz vor Invasionen und Plünderungen. Es lohnt sich wirklich, die gepflasterten Gassen zu den Ruinen der Burg und der Kirche auf dem Gipfel hinaufzugehen.
Auf dem Rückweg folgen wir jetzt der Uferstraße des Maréchal Foch, der asphaltierten Straße an diesem Ufer der Ouvèze in Richtung Malaucène. Dann folgen wir der Hauptstraße nach Malaucène für einen kleinen Kilometer bis zur Kreuzung von Crestet.
