Das Wolfsdenkmal befindet sich in der Nähe von Vouty (Gemeinde Faverolles), an der Kreuzung der D973 und der D17 in Richtung Corcy und Ancienville.
Es ist der 128. Infanteriedivision von General Segonne gewidmet, die aufgrund ihrer Aggressivität und Tapferkeit in den Kämpfen den Spitznamen "Division des loups" (Division der Wölfe) erhielt.
Die Division der Wölfe zeichnete sich hier im Juni 1918 besonders aus, als sie den deutschen Vormarsch stoppte, und im Juli 1918 während der Gegenoffensive der Alliierten.
Auf einer Tafel am Fuße des Denkmals ist zu lesen: "Hier hielt die 128. Division den Feind auf (Juni 1918) und trug durch eine siegreiche Offensive (Juli 1918) zu seinem endgültigen Rückzug bei".
An den Seiten befinden sich zwei Tafeln mit den verschiedenen Orten, an denen diese Division während des Großen Krieges kämpfte.
