Das Maison Breton steht unter Denkmalschutz und ist mit einem Turm aus dem 13. Jahrhundert das älteste bewohnte Gebäude des Dorfes. Es gehörte zunächst dem Maler Henri Martin, wurde dann aber von dem international bekannten Schriftsteller André Breton erworben, der dort zwischen 1951 und 1966 jeden Sommer wohnte.
Das Haus beherbergt heute das CISCM (Centre International du Surréalisme et de la Citoyenneté Mondiale) und enthüllt einen Besucherparcours, der in direkter Verbindung mit dem Denken des Dichters steht: thematische Ausstellungsräume, hängende Gärten, Literaturcafé, Buchhandlung, Künstlerwohnheime, universitäres Forschungszentrum.
Der Kunstparcours beginnt im Maison Rignault, das sich direkt darüber befindet.
