Ein Ort, an dem die Stille lauter ist als der Gesang der Vögel. Der Etang du Bischwald ist bei Ornithologen für die reiche und vielfältige Vogelwelt bekannt, die er das ganze Jahr über beherbergt. Das Gebiet bildet einen großen ökologischen Komplex, der aus dem Teich und den umliegenden Feuchtgebieten, der Nied du Bischwald und ihren zahlreichen kleinen Nebenflüssen, dem Sumpfgebiet von Lelling, Feuchtwiesen mit Tümpeln und Wäldern besteht. Eine Oase der Ruhe für die lokale Flora und Fauna.
