Un lugar donde el silencio es más fuerte que el canto de los pájaros. El estanque de Bischwald es conocido por los ornitólogos por la rica y diversa avifauna que alberga durante todo el año. El lugar forma un vasto complejo ecológico, compuesto por el estanque y los humedales que lo rodean, el Nied du Bischwald y sus numerosos pequeños afluentes, el pantano de Lelling, praderas húmedas salpicadas de estanques, todo ello bordeado de bosques. Un remanso de paz para la fauna y la flora locales.
