Dieses Museum, dessen Eingang sich am Fuße der Basilika befindet, liegt im Herzen der Schlachtfelder und im Zentrum von Albert, der Symbolstadt des Ersten Weltkriegs. Es zeigt das Leben der Soldaten in den Schützengräben während der Offensive vom 1. Juli 1916. In einem 250 Meter langen unterirdischen Gang, der während des Zweiten Weltkriegs als Luftschutzbunker diente, sind 15 Alkoven und Vitrinen eingerichtet. Geräusche, Bilder und Licht lassen die Besucher in den Alltag eintauchen, den diese Soldaten erlebten. Der Ausgang befindet sich im öffentlichen Garten.
