Die Kapelle befindet sich an der Ecke des Place de la Victoire und beherbergt eine vergoldete Holzstatue aus dem 17. Jahrhundert: Die Jungfrau Maria hält ihr Kind in den Armen und in der rechten Hand einen Stab, der wahrscheinlich von einem blühenden Schilfrohr übrig geblieben ist. Die Skulptur ist den Menschen in Mareuillais ans Herz gewachsen, die ihr Fest jedes Jahr am 8. September feierlich begehen.
