Située à l’angle de la place de la Victoire, la chapelle abrite une statue en bois doré du XVIIe siècle : la Vierge Marie tient son enfant dans ses bras et dans la main droite un bâton, reste probablement d’un roseau fleuri. La sculpture est chère au cœur des Mareuillais qui célèbrent solennellement sa fête le 8 septembre chaque année.
