Das Excelsior ist eines der berühmtesten Beispiele für den Jugendstil in Nancy. Der Art-Deco-Anbau und das Treppengeländer von Jean Prouvé passen perfekt zum Dekor des großen Saals, der 1911 eingeweiht wurde: Majorelle/Daum-Kronleuchter, Majorelle-Möbel, Glasfenster von Gruber. Diese Brasserie ist ein außergewöhnlicher Ort!
Louis Moreau war der Initiator dieser Brauerei, der sie zu einem luxuriösen Schaufenster für seine Brauerei in Vézelise machen wollte.
