Das Feuchtgebiet La Moutière wird vom Conservatoire des espaces naturels geschützt, liegt auf etwa 385 m Höhe in einer Senke, das Moor konzentriert den Regen, der vom Fossard-Massiv über den Bach von Seux kommt. Es ist ein Erbe der letzten Eiszeiten und besteht aus mehreren Metern Schwemmland, das nach dem Rückzug der Gletscher abgelagert wurde. Der torfige Boden bedeckt den Ort heute vollständig. Im Herzen des Dorfes gelegen, beherbergt es dennoch einige sehr bemerkenswerte natürliche Lebensräume, insbesondere die Torffazies und den Wiesenknopf (krautige Pflanze), der dem Bläuling (Schmetterling) einen Lebensraum bietet.
