Die Kirche wurde zwischen dem 12. und 16. Jahrhundert am Ende eines Felsvorsprungs errichtet und diente als Verteidigungsanlage, wie eine Hourd über dem Westportal zeigt. Der Eingang und der Chor der Kirche sind romanisch. In der Gotik wurde das Kirchenschiff mit Spitzbögen überdacht, die sich an ihrer Basis auf seltsame grinsende Steinköpfe stützen. Ein zweites Kirchenschiff wurde hinzugefügt, in dem sich die Tür für die Leprakranken öffnete. Zur Ausstattung der Kirche gehören eine Kanzel, ein Altarbild und eine Statue des Heiligen Christophorus.
