Im Pays de Bitche gibt es etwa zehn Moorweiher, von denen die meisten aufgrund der außergewöhnlichen Flora, die sie beherbergen, geschützt sind. Am Etang de Hanau gibt es einen im Sommer 2018 vollständig renovierten Pfad, der auf Gitterrosten angelegt und mit Schautafeln versehen ist, die die Seltenheit und Zerbrechlichkeit dieses natürlichen Lebensraums verständlich machen. Von Mai bis September lassen sich hier fleischfressende Pflanzen, alle Arten von Preiselbeeren oder grazile Libellen beobachten. Der Pfad führt weiter in den Wald, wo Sie die wichtigsten einheimischen Bäume kennenlernen.
