Die Kapelle Sainte-Madeleine bildet zusammen mit dem ehemaligen Refektorium das einzige noch erhaltene Gebäude des Klosters Sainte-Enimie. Das Kloster, dessen Ausstrahlung die Region über mehrere Jahrhunderte hinweg prägte, soll ursprünglich im 6. Jahrhundert vom Heiligen Ilère gegründet worden sein. Es wurde 951 der Benediktinerabtei Monastier-sur-Gazeille (43) angegliedert und war bis zur Revolution eine der einflussreichsten klösterlichen Niederlassungen.
Die Kapelle trägt die Handschrift ihrer Zeit und des Reichtums ihrer Erbauer: Sie wurde in einem sehr gepflegten romanischen Stil erbaut, was man an der Präzision des verwendeten Kalksteins und an ihrem Kreuzgewölbe erkennen kann.

Sie ist durch das Gitter am Eingang zu sehen.
