Die Madonna beherrscht schweigend den Gipfel des Langenbergs. Die 1,5 m hohe Statue wurde 1866 errichtet. Geschützt durch den Wald hat sie die Zeit und die Kriege überdauert. Der Legende nach hat ein Förster dieses Denkmal aus Dankbarkeit gegenüber der Heiligen errichtet, die ihm den Weg gezeigt hat, als er sich im Nebel dieses Waldes verirrt hatte. "Silvae ac in illa orantibus Maria benedicat" auf dem Sockel eingraviert bedeutet "Maria segne diesen Wald und alle, die hierher kommen, um zu beten".
