Wenn du die lange Allee am Meer entlang weitergehst, kommst du vom Petit-Travers, der zur Stadt Carnon gehört, zum Grand-Travers, der zu La Grande-Motte gehört. Der Spot ist in jeder Hinsicht ähnlich, er arbeitet mit denselben Windrichtungen: Südost bis Südwest, und manchmal werden sogar ein paar schöne Wellen erzeugt, wenn das Tiefdruckgebiet groß genug ist. Der Wind weht On/Side/On Shore, was ihn zu einem sicheren Spot für Anfänger macht, zumal der Strand relativ groß ist und es genügend Platz gibt, um die Ausrüstung vorzubereiten, zu landen und zu starten.
