Das charmante Dorf Berviller-en-Moselle besitzt eine Kirche, die in den 1750er Jahren erbaut und im Laufe der Jahre restauriert wurde. Die Gemeinde steht unter dem Schutz von Saint-Fiacre, dem Schutzpatron der Gärtner. Er wurde Anfang des 7. Jahrhunderts geboren und lebte als Einsiedler im Wald von Breuil. Als er das Elend um sich herum sah, bat er seinen Bischof um ein Stück Land, das er bewirtschaften konnte, um die Pilger zu ernähren. Er dachte sogar an Heilpflanzen für die Kranken und an Blumen. Fiacre teilt seine Zeit zwischen Gebet, Handarbeit und der Fürsorge für die Armen auf. Er wird mit einem Spieß dargestellt und ist als Bauer oder Einsiedler gekleidet.
