Die ehemalige Abtei beherrscht Longeville seit dem 6. Jahrhundert. Die Stadt entwickelte sich um diese Klostergebäude herum, ebenso wie zahlreiche Dörfer in der Umgebung. Das Gebäude besitzt eine bewegte Vergangenheit mit Angriffen, Plünderungen, Restaurierungen, Abrissen ... um heute in seinen Mauern die Patienten eines Erholungs- und Genesungsheims zu beherbergen. Elemente erinnern an den Ursprung der Klosteranlage: die großen Eingangsportale, gewölbte Räume mit Arkaden, der Nordturm, die Kapelle, der Park, das Mobiliar...
