Alfred Boucher , geboren 1850 in Nogent-sur-Seine, war der Gründer von La Ruche in Montparnasse , das Künstler wie Léger, Modigliani, Soutrine und Chagall beherbergte. Er war auch der erste Lehrer von Camille Claudel. Er starb 1934 in Aix-les-Bains und ist auf dem Friedhof Nogent-sur-Seine begraben. Viele seiner Werke sind im Camille Claudel Museum in Nogent-sur-Seine zu sehen.
