Der Bahnhof Wharram wurde im Mai 1853 von der Malton and Driffield Railway eröffnet und bediente das Dorf Wharram-le-Street in North Yorkshire, England, obwohl das Gebiet zu dieser Zeit in der East Riding of Yorkshire lag. Der Bahnhof befand sich auch in der Nähe des verlassenen mittelalterlichen Dorfes Wharram Percy und angrenzend an den Wharram-Kalksteinbruch.
Der Bahnhof mit einem Gleis hatte am südlichen Ende eine Überholungsschleife, die einzige an der Strecke. Er verfügte über die üblichen Gütereinrichtungen für Nebenbahnhöfe sowie über einen Anschlussgleis zum Wharram Quarry, der von einem großen Kalksilo dominiert wurde.
