Die Gwynfynydd Gold Mine liegt in der Nähe von Ganllwyd, Dolgellau, Gwynedd, Wales. Der Erzgang, der 1860 entdeckt wurde, wurde ab 1884 abgebaut. Er hat mehr als 45.000 Feinunzen walisischen Gold produziert, bis der Abbau 1998 eingestellt wurde. Das entspricht 1.400 kg.
Gold wurde in den 1850er Jahren im Gebiet Dolgellau gefunden und ein Goldrausch entwickelte sich. Das erste Gold wurde 1863 in Gwynfynydd entdeckt, aber erst 1887 wurde die Mine kommerziell erschlossen. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt war die Mine von William Pritchard Morgan erworben worden, der als der "walisische Goldkönig" bekannt wurde und der bezahlte, dass zwei Polizeibeamte die Mine schützten.
