La mine d'or de Gwynfynydd est située près de Ganllwyd, Dolgellau, Gwynedd, au Pays de Galles. Le filon, découvert en 1860, a été exploité à partir de 1884. Il a produit plus de 45 000 onces troy d'or gallois jusqu'à ce que l'exploitation minière cesse en 1998. L'équivalent de 1 400 kg.
De l'or a été trouvé dans la région de Dolgellau dans les années 1850 et une ruée vers l'or s'est développée. Le premier or a été découvert à Gwynfynydd en 1863, mais ce n'est qu'en 1887 que la mine a été développée commercialement. À cette époque, la mine avait été acquise par William Pritchard Morgan, qui devait devenir connu sous le nom de "roi de l'or gallois", et qui a payé deux agents de police pour protéger la mine.
