Gwynfynydd Goudmijn ligt nabij Ganllwyd, Dolgellau, Gwynedd, Wales. De ader, die in 1860 werd ontdekt, werd vanaf 1884 geëxploiteerd. Het heeft meer dan 45.000 troy ounce Welsh goud geproduceerd totdat de mijn in 1998 werd gesloten. Het equivalent van 1.400 kg .
Goud werd in de jaren 1850 in de Dolgellau omgeving gevonden en er ontstond een mijnwerkersrush. Het eerste goud werd in 1863 bij Gwynfynydd ontdekt, maar het was pas in 1887 dat de mijn commercieel werd ontwikkeld. Tegen die tijd was de mijn verworven door William Pritchard Morgan, die bekend zou worden als de "Welsh gold king", en die voor twee politieagenten betaalde om de mijn te beschermen.
