Spinalonga ), offiziell Kalydon ), ist eine unbewohnte griechische Insel im westlichen Golf von Mirabello. Die Insel zählt zum Gebiet der Ortschaft Elounda der Gemeinde Agios Nikolaos im Nordosten der Insel Kreta. Die im 16. Jahrhundert durch die Venezianer auf Spinalonga errichtete Seefestung ist eines der bedeutendsten Beispiele für die Anwendung des Bastionärsystems im Mittelmeer.
