Das Teatro Caio Melisso ist ein Opernhaus in Spoleto, Italien, und dient als Hauptveranstaltungsort für Opernaufführungen während des jährlichen Sommerfestivals dei Due Mondi.
Das Theater hat seit dem späten 17. Jahrhundert mehrere Transformationen und Namensänderungen durchlaufen. Das Teatro di Piazza del Duomo, auch bekannt als Teatro della Rosa, wurde um 1667 erbaut, 1749 modernisiert und 1749 als Nuovo Teatro di Spoleto wiedereröffnet. Nach einer Restaurierung im Jahr 1817 und nachdem Rossini das Theater besucht hatte, fiel es allmählich in Unbrauchbarkeit, und Mitte des 19. Jahrhunderts wurde ein neues Theater benötigt. Das 800-sitzende Teatro Nuovo wurde zwischen 1854 und 1864 mit beträchtlichen öffentlichen Mitteln errichtet.
