El Teatro Caio Melisso es una casa de ópera ubicada en Spoleto, Italia, y sirve como el principal lugar para las actuaciones de ópera durante el Festival dei Due Mondi de verano.
El teatro ha sufrido varias transformaciones y cambios de nombre desde finales del siglo XVII. El Teatro di Piazza del Duomo, también conocido como el Teatro della Rosa, construido alrededor de 1667, fue modernizado en 1749 y reabierto en 1749 como el Nuovo Teatro di Spoleto. Después de una restauración en 1817 y tras la visita de Rossini al teatro, gradualmente cayó en desuso y se necesitaba un nuevo teatro a mediados del siglo XIX. El Teatro Nuovo, con capacidad para 800 personas, fue construido entre 1854 y 1864 con un considerable gasto público.
