Das erste heilige Gebäude, das südlich der Malophoros-Anlage gefunden wurde, ist ein Tempel, der allgemein als Triolo-Gebäude bezeichnet wird , nach dem Namen der Familie, die ein bestehendes Grundstück in der Gegend besitzt.
Dem Tempel ist ein großer Altar vorgelagert. Das Gebäude sieht aus wie ein archaischer Tempel von bemerkenswerten Ausmaßen. Dank einer aufwendigen Restaurierung wurden die Nord- und Südseite des Gebäudes neu aufgebaut.
Wir wissen mit Sicherheit, dass das Gebäude nach der Zerstörung der Stadt (409 v. Chr.) von den Karthagern wiederverwendet wurde, die an der Ostfront einen Portikus mit Säulen und ägyptischen Rillenkapitellen anbauten.
