Il primo edificio sacro rinvenuto a sud del recinto della Malophoros è un tempio, comunemente chiamato Palazzo Triolo , dal nome della famiglia proprietaria di una proprietà esistente nella zona.
Il tempio è preceduto da un grande altare. L'edificio si presenta come un tempio arcaico di notevoli proporzioni. Grazie ad un rigoroso restauro sono stati ricostruiti i lati nord e sud dell'edificio.
Sappiamo con certezza che dopo la distruzione della città (409 aC) l'edificio fu riutilizzato dai Cartaginesi che aggiunsero sul fronte orientale un portico con pilastri sormontati da capitelli egiziani a scanalatura.
