El primer edifici sagrat trobat al sud del recinte de Malophoros és un temple, comunament anomenat Edifici Triolo , pel nom de la família que posseeix una propietat existent a la zona.
El temple està precedit per un gran altar. L'edifici sembla un temple arcaic de proporcions notables. Gràcies a una rigorosa restauració, es van reconstruir els costats nord i sud de l'edifici.
Sabem amb certesa que després de la destrucció de la ciutat (409 aC) l'edifici va ser reutilitzat pels cartaginesos que li van afegir un pòrtic al front oriental amb pilars coronats per capitells de solc egipci.
