Die Burg Brandenbourg , auch Schloss Brandenbourg genannt, ist die Ruine einer luxemburgischen Höhenburg in der gleichnamigen Ortschaft in der Gemeinde Tandel.Die Ursprünge der Burg gehen schätzungsweise auf das 10. Jahrhundert zurück, zum ersten Mal urkundlich erwähnt wurde sie allerdings erst 1244 in Zusammenhang mit ihrem ersten bekannten Herrn, Gottfried. Die Burg hatte eine strategisch günstige Lage. Sie lag an der Seite zweier Verkehrswege, die zur damaligen Zeit unabdingbar waren: einmal von der Sauer in die Ardennen und der andere von Burscheid nach Vianden .
