Baarlo ist ein auf der linken Seite der Maas gelegenes niederländisches Dorf in der Gemeinde Peel und Maas, acht Kilometer südlich von Blerick/Venlo und nördlich von Kessel. Eine Fähre verbindet Baarlo mit Steyl. Baarlo hat einen landwirtschaftlichen Ursprung, dient aber auch als Pendlerort für Venlo. Das Dorf hat einen ländlichen Charakter und präsentiert sich als Burgdorf aufgrund seiner vier Schlösser.
