Die Landschaft rund um Sint Kruis [Sinte Kruus] ist eine der authentischsten von West-Zeeuws-Vlaanderen. Besonders zu Beginn des Sommers, wenn der Weizen und der Flachs zu reifen beginnen, ist es dort wunderschön. Man fährt herrlich ruhig zwischen den Feldern, die von rustikalen Gräben durchzogen werden. Die bewohnte Welt scheint hier weit entfernt. Im Dorfcafé kann man sich für eine Erfrischung niederlassen. Früher wurden hier Pferde beschlagen, heutzutage geht man auf ein Bier zu Greetje.
Die Peperbusse
Die Kirche und der Turm stammen aus dem 14. Jahrhundert. Der stumpfe Turm diente einst als Leuchtfeuer für die Schifffahrt im Zwin nach und von Sluis, als das Wasser noch schiffbar war. Der Turm wird im Volksmund auch „Die Peperbusse“ genannt.
