Wijdenes ist ein Dorf in der Gemeinde Drechterland, gelegen zwischen Hoorn und Enkhuizen an der Markermeerdijk, in der niederländischen Provinz Nordholland. Bis 1970 war Wijdenes zusammen mit Oosterleek und Schellinkhout eine eigenständige Gemeinde. Seit dieser Zeit gehört es zur Gemeinde Venhuizen, zusammen mit Hem, Oosterleek und Schellinkhout. Zu dem Ort gehört die alte Siedlung Wijmers, die relativ junge Siedlung Kraaienburg und die 'ehemaligen' Siedlungen Twuiver und die Molentjes. Das Dorf hat 1.390 Einwohner.
