Das Fort bei Uithoorn ist Teil der Stelling von Amsterdam. Im Volksmund wird gelegentlich von Fort Amstelhoek gesprochen. Das Fort liegt im Dorf Amstelhoek in der Gemeinde De Ronde Venen und ist von der N196 aus zu sehen. Um das Befestigungswerk verläuft ein Graben.
Rund um Amsterdam wurden ab 1880 45 Forts angelegt. Fort Amstelhoek bestand zunächst aus Erdwällen, und 1887 wurde per königlichem Beschluss genehmigt, ein Befestigungswerk anzulegen. Dieses wurde zwischen 1909 und 1911 mit bombensicheren Gebäuden erweitert und 1917 wurde eine Flugabwehrabteilung eingerichtet. Die Besatzung bestand damals aus 321 Männern.
