Die Wezenbrunnen sind zwei monumentale Brunnen bei dem texelischen Dorf Oudeschild. Im Zeitalter der VOC lagen die Schiffe in der Reede von Texel und warteten auf günstigen Wind. Auf der Insel wurden unter anderem Proviant und Trinkwasser eingekauft, wobei das Wasser lange Zeit aus den Wezenbrunnen stammte. Aufgrund des Eisengehalts war das Wasser von Texel lange haltbar, und das war wichtig für Schiffe, die bis zum Kap der Guten Hoffnung keine anderen Wasserquellen hatten. Irgendwann wurden die Brunnen in den Besitz der Regenten des Waisenhauses in Den Burg gegeben, das damit eine Einnahmequelle hatte. Im Jahr 1676 wurde festgelegt, dass auch die Einwohner von Texel für Wasser aus dem Brunnen bezahlen mussten.
