Woudrichem ist eine alte Festungsstadt an der Merwede in der Provinz Nordbrabant im Land von Heusden und Altena, in der Gemeinde Altena. Woudrichem hat über 4000 Einwohner. Es war auch eine frühere Gemeinde, bevor sie in die Gemeinde Altena einging.
Woudrichem liegt im Norden des Landes Altena an der Mündung der Afgedamde Maas in die Waal. Diese beiden Flüsse fließen danach weiter zusammen als die Boven-Merwede. Diese Zusammenfließstelle ist auch der „Drei-Provinzen-Punkt“, wo die Grenzen zwischen den Provinzen Südholland, Nordbrabant und Gelderland aufeinandertreffen.
