Der Bahnhof Simpelveld ist der ehemalige Bahnhof von Simpelveld. Der Bahnhof wurde am 23. Oktober 1853 eröffnet und hatte ursprünglich eine Länge von 100 Metern. Im Jahr 1975 wurde er teilweise abgerissen, wobei das Güterschuppen, verschiedene Diensträume, die Retirade und der Warteraum verschwanden. Von der ursprünglichen Länge sind noch 38 Meter erhalten. Der Bahnhof wurde schließlich am 31. Mai 1992 für den öffentlichen Personennahverkehr geschlossen. Bis zu diesem Zeitpunkt haben in dem Gebäude auch die Mannschaften der Koninklijke Marechaussee Brigade Simpelveld gedient. Als bleibende Erinnerung hat die Koninklijke Marechaussee auf Antrag der Zuid-Limburgse Stoomtrein Maatschappij die Genehmigung zur Anbringung einer Gedenktafel am Eingang des ehemaligen Visitationraums erteilt.
