Die Staatsmijn Emma, benannt nach der Mutter der damaligen Königin Wilhelmina, war eine niederländische Steinkohlegrube im südlimburgischen Steinkohlenbecken, die von 1911 bis 1973 zwischen Treebeek und Hoensbroek angesiedelt war. Die Staatsmijn Emma, in der hauptsächlich Fettkohle für industrielle Zwecke abgebaut wurde, war die zweigrößte Steinkohlegrube der Niederlande. Die Mine verfügte über fünf Ebenen, die in 325, 410, 546, 700 und 855 Meter unter der Oberfläche angelegt waren. Mit mehr als 109 Millionen Tonnen Steinkohle erreichte sie die höchste gesamte Nettoproduktion aller Minen in den Niederlanden.
