La Staatsmijn Emma, nommée d'après la mère de la reine Wilhelmina, était une mine de charbon néerlandaise dans le bassin houiller du sud du Limbourg, qui a été en activité de 1911 à 1973, entre Treebeek et Hoensbroek. La Staatsmijn Emma, qui extrayait principalement du charbon gras pour un usage industriel, était la deuxième plus grande mine de charbon des Pays-Bas. La mine avait cinq niveaux situés à 325, 410, 546, 700 et 855 mètres sous la surface. Avec plus de 109 millions de tonnes de charbon, elle a atteint la plus haute production nette totale de toutes les mines des Pays-Bas.
