La Staatsmijn Emma, intitolata alla madre dell'allora regina Wilhelmina, era una miniera di carbone olandese nel bacino carbonifero di Zuid-Limburg, attiva dal 1911 al 1973 tra Treebeek e Hoensbroek. La Staatsmijn Emma, dove veniva estratto principalmente carbone grasso per uso industriale, era la seconda miniera di carbone più grande dei Paesi Bassi. La miniera disponeva di cinque piani situati a 325, 410, 546, 700 e 855 metri sotto la superficie. Con oltre 109 milioni di tonnellate di carbone, raggiunse la massima produzione netta totale di tutte le miniere nei Paesi Bassi.
