Die Gooijer wurde 1775 erbaut. Die Mühle ist vom Typ Grundseiler und hat die Funktion einer Poldermühle. Die Mühle steht bei Wolvega am Flüsschen Linde.
Ursprünglich stand die Mühle bei Blesdijke. Nach etwa sechzig Jahren wurde die Mühle ca. 1835 zum ersten Mal nach Noordwolde versetzt, wo die Mühle etwa achtzig Jahre als Kornmühle diente. 1917 wurde die Mühle zum zweiten Mal versetzt. Vor der Restaurierung im Jahr 1991 war die Mühle als De Walden bekannt und wurde nach dem letzten Berufsmüller der Mühle umbenannt. Eigentümer ist der Verein It Fryske Gea.
