Zinkweiß, Ing. Roccourstraat 28, Caestert (Eijsden)
Die alte Zinkweißfabrik von Eijsden war traditionell der größte Arbeitgeber von Eijsden. Die Zinkweißfabrik wurde 1870 von dem belgischen Ingenieur George Rocour gegründet und nahm im Januar 1871 die Produktion auf. Zinkweiß ist ein weißes Pigment, das unter anderem in der Farbenindustrie und der Gummiindustrie verwendet wird. Jetzt sind hier die Fabriken Ineos Silica und Umicore ansässig.
Hier befindet sich auch das Bürogebäude im traditionellen Baustil, das 1928 im Auftrag der Nederlandsche Zinkwit Maatschappij nach einem Entwurf der Architekten V.F. Marres und W.J. Sandhövel aus Maastricht erbaut wurde.
