Die Schipholdraaibrug ist eine Drehbrücke über die Ringvaart der Haarlemmermeerpolder in der Oude Schipholweg, zwischen der Ortschaft Nieuwe Meer und Schiphol-Oost, und verbindet die Gemeinden Haarlemmermeer und Amstelveen in Höhe des Amsterdamse Bos. Die im Juli 1936 eröffnete Brücke befindet sich an der Stelle des abgerissenen Forts am Schiphol. Als das Wachstum des 1920 eröffneten Flughafens Schiphol zu einem zunehmenden Verkehrsaufkommen führte, war die Kapazität der Sloterbrug unzureichend. Bereits 1926 wurde im Rahmen des Primären Wegenplans der Provinz Nord-Holland beschlossen, die Spaarnwouderweg zu einer Autobahn auszubauen.
