Der Berkelplatz ist ein Platz in der Stadt Valkenburg, Gemeinde Valkenburg aan de Geul, in der niederländischen Provinz Limburg. Der Platz liegt im Südosten, direkt außerhalb der alten Innenstadt im Stadtteil Neerhem.
Der Platz befindet sich etwa 150 Meter östlich des Berkeltores, das nach einem gewissen Heinric von Birckelaer benannt ist, Eigentümer des Lehen Nederheim und wohnhaft auf Schloss Den Halder. Ungefähr an der Stelle des Berkelplatzes lag bis zum 17. Jahrhundert der östliche Stadtgraben, der an dieser Stelle den Namen Berkelwijer trug. Das mittelniederländische 'wijer' bedeutet Teich oder Tümpel.
