In der Jan Glijnisweg 30 findest du eine wunderschöne Kirche der Heiligen Familie Parochie. Im Jahr 1922 erhielt der neu ernannte Baupfarrer den Auftrag, eine neue Gemeinde in Heerhugowaard zu gründen. Der Architekt Jan Klomp entwarf eine dreischiffige Kreuzkirche mit einem 40 Meter hohen Turm. Für den Turm stand jedoch keine ausreichende Finanzierung zur Verfügung, weshalb dieser niemals realisiert wurde. Stattdessen gab es einen Dachreiter über dem Chorbereich, mit vier Buntglasfenstern. Die Kirche wurde 1924 eröffnet und beherbergt Reliquien des heiligen Bonifatius und eines der Martyrer von Gorcum.
