Charles Le Chevalier ließ diesen Bauernhof 1847 erbauen und benannte ihn nach seiner Frau Anna van Heurn. Von dieser Zeit bis zum Jahr 2000 wurde der Bauernhof verpachtet. Zur Pacht gehörten die Flächen direkt um den Bauernhof, aber auch die Flächen, zu denen dieser Spaziergang Sie führt.
Nasse Flächen, aber durch die kleinteilige Art der Landwirtschaft aus früherer Zeit wussten die Bauern hier sehr gut damit umzugehen.
Der Bauernhof wird jetzt privat bewohnt und das Wohnhaus wird als Gästehaus genutzt. Der ehemalige Laufstall ist als Gruppenunterkunft für Schullager, Ferienwochen und andere Gruppen eingerichtet.
